The total award value is $138,000.00, which is under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold.
VELOCITY SYSTEMS LLC was determined to be the only responsible source capable of providing the required body armor due to compatibility with existing inventory, maintain configuration standardization across personnel, minimizes additional training and logistical support requirements, and allows for continued interchangeability of components.
