Description & Project Overview
The repeated overburdening of the waters in the Oderbruch since 2008 gave rise to the initiation of the “Oderbruch special program to improve flood flow on first-order waters”. As part of this special program, the State Office for the Environment (client, AG) intends to implement measures to improve the runoff profile of the Friedländer Strom in the 3rd construction phase (BA). The aim is to remove drainage obstacles and bottlenecks in sections of this important receiving water and to prevent increased erosion of the waterbed.
