Description & Project Overview
As part of the general renovation of the Hagen–Hamm high-performance network, the existing level crossing (BÜ) in Bönen will be replaced by a railway overpass (EÜ). The railway overpass structure is made up of a total of five individual superstructures, each of which is designed as a single-span girder. Trough bridges with an orthotropic plate are used for tracks 3, 4 and 10, while the superstructures of tracks 1 and 2 are constructed as structures with rolled concrete beams (WiB).
