Description & Project Overview
The assignment concerns the execution of mowing and haying work on extremely vulnerable poor wet peaty grassland plots for which the risks of soil compaction in the longer term with continued mowing management, even with tracked vehicles, are too great to guarantee optimal conservation of the nature objectives. This concerns the most valuable and vulnerable parts of larger grassland complexes that are mowed with other equipment (usually track mowers), either by ANB's own workers or by contracting companies.
