This prospectus is being issued to solicit applications for a concession campground special use permit. a permit or permits to provide high-quality public service in the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities located on the powder river, medicine wheel, and tongue ranger districts, bighorn national forest, will be issued. the permit or permits will include 31 campgrounds and 2 picnic grounds. a facility tour led by the forest is scheduled for september 25 and 26, 2026. interested parties must rsvp to andrea maichak at andrea.maichak@usda.gov by friday, september 18, 2026.
all applications must be received by close of business (4:30 p.m.) on friday, october 30, 2026.
