Official Gazette of the City of Chemnitz The Chemnitz Official Gazette is a print publication published by the City of Chemnitz, which supplements the electronic Official Gazette of the City of Chemnitz (the official announcement organ of the City of Chemnitz). In this way, the city of Chemnitz informs residents of Chemnitz about current topics, services and offers of the city of Chemnitz as well as decisions of the city council. It is also a source of information about tenders from the city of Chemnitz and other official information. The Chemnitz Official Gazette is to be distributed in a circulation of 23,000 to around 250 locations according to the distribution principle. It is also available at www.chemnitz.de/amtsblatt as a barrier-free PDF/UA file according to the WCAG standard. The target group is all citizens of the city as well as companies, service providers and authorities. The Chemnitz Official Gazette comprises an editorial and an official part (in this order: editorial part, then official part in one issue). The average length available for these two parts is between eight and twenty pages, with an annual average of sixteen pages per issue.
