Description & Project Overview
This contract concerns an in-depth study of long-term exposure to pollutants present in indoor air as well as an in-depth microbiological characterization of indoor environments and ventilation systems. This market is part of the health law of November 6, 2022 relating to the improvement of indoor air quality in closed places accessible to the public (published in the Belgian Official Gazette on December 1, 2022). To enable the implementation of this law, the Indoor Air Quality Unit of the FPS Public Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment (FPS SPSCAE) is responsible for preparing the necessary legal instruments. Deze opdracht heeft betrekking op een uitdiepend onderzoek naar de langdurige blootstelling aan verontreinigende stuffen in de binnenlucht en op een uitgebreide microbiologische karakterisering van binnenomgevingen en ventilatiesystemen. Deze opdracht kadert in de wet van 6 November 2022 betreffende de verbetering van de binnenluchtkwaliteit in gesloten plaatsen die publik toegankelijk zijn (bekendgemaakt in the Belgisch Staatsblad op 1 December 2022). Met het oog op de uitvoering van deze wet est de cel Binnenluchtkwaliteit van de FOD Volksgezondheid, Veiligheid van de Voedselketen en Leefmilieu belast met de voorbereiding van de nodige juridische instrumentsen.
