Description & Project Overview
Construction investment of the New Transport Museum Reason for the exclusion of sub-tendering: The technical content and task units of the investment assume, at many points, overlapping, parallel construction processes resulting from the on-site conditions and the technical content of the plans. As a result of the close connections, the Investment was already treated as an organic unit during the planning process, and a uniform execution plan documentation was prepared that included all task units. Dividing the implementation into several parts would entail significant additional coordination, implementation, technical and warranty risk, therefore their separation is not appropriate from the point of view of the successful implementation of the investment, and also increases the cost and time required of the investment. The implementation of the work parts within the framework of independent contracts would make the coordination of the project performance significantly more complex, resulting in technically critical situations at many points during the on-site organization. The division into parts would not result in work processes that are actually independent of each other, but would create contractual performance that closely cooperates with each other, the spatial and temporal coordination and scheduling of which - in accordance with the schedule to be issued in the bidding stage - would require additional resources, continuously increased Customer and Contractor control, and additional organization, the cost implications of which make the implementation of the investment more expensive and result in a significant interface risk. A more detailed explanation due to the character limit can be found in the participation documentation.
