FDV Road clearing and fleet management

IKTNH will carry out a tender competition on the subject system FDV road. The municipalities of Alver, Aurland, Austrheim, Austevoll, Etne, Fedje, Gulen, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Sveio, Tysnes, Vaksdal and Vindafjord have established a joint ICT operating company, IKT Nordhordland municipal task association (IKTNH). The following municipalities participate in this competition: - Alver municipality - Osterøy municipality - Sveio municipality - Tysnes municipality - Modalen municipality The client needs to enter into an agreement for the delivery of a specialist system for FDV road and fleet management with associated functionality. The municipalities to be included in this agreement do not currently have any operational professional system for the management, operation and maintenance of municipal roads or for fleet management. Today's operations are supported by generic tools such as Excel and Outlook. The main goal of the solution is to implement and adopt a good professional system that supports FDV of road and fleet management. We seek to meet the following impact targets: • Efficient and safe operation, maintenance and management. • All important information is collected in the same place • Increase professional collaboration between municipalities that possibly use the same system • Better basis for making the right priorities • Better quality and overview • Save and make the use of time more efficient • Fewer elements in the operation will be dependent on people.
