Contract Title : Acquisition of IT Equipment to support the expansion and development of the National Electronic Tendering System RFB Reference No.: AO/MINFIN/573466/GO/RFB Government of Angola (GoA) signed a financing agreement with the World Bank for the implementation of the Governance Strengthening Project to Improve Service Provision, whose objectives are: (i) increase the amount and reliability of fiscal transfers to selected municipalities; (ii) strengthen financial and land management capacity; (iii) increase identification coverage. The project is multisectoral, involving the following Ministerial Departments: Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Ministry of Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing, Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Territorial Administration, which is responsible for coordination through a Project Implementation Unit (UIP), and intends to apply part of the funds for payments under the Acquisition of IT Equipment to support the expansion and development of the National Electronic Tendering System . For this agreement, the Borrower will use the Direct Payment disbursement method as defined in the World Bank Disbursement Guidelines for Financing Investment Projects.
