` republic of the philippines ` province of batangas municipality of laurel www.laurelbatangas.gov.ph tel. no. 043 7414031 loc 106 office of the bids and awards committee invitation to bid 1) the municipal government of laurel through the annual appropriation program intends to apply the sum stated hereunder to payments under the contract for the aforementioned project: project: supply and installation of airconditioning units location: laurel, batangas abc: 737,000.00 contract duration: 30 cd bids received in excess of the abc shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2) the municipal government of laurel, now invites bids for the above procurement projects. completion of the works is required thirty (30) calendar days. bidders should have completed a contract similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly, in section ii (instructions to bidders). 3) bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the irr, otherwise known as the “new government procurement act (ngpa)”. bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines. 4) interested bidders may obtain further information from the municipal government of laurel and inspect the bidding documents at the address given. 5) a complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders on october 7-20, 20 from the given address below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the bidding documents, pursuant to the latest guidelines issued by the gppb. it may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the philippine government electronic procurement system (philgeps) and the official website of local government of laurel, if available, provided that the bidders shall pay the fee for the bidding documents not later than the submission of their bids. 6) bids must be duly received by the bids and awards committee (bac) secretariat through manual submission at the address indicated below. late bids shall not be accepted. schedule activities date/time advertisement: october 7-14, 2026 pre-bid conference: - - submission of letter of intent: october 7-20, 2026 issuance of bid documents: october 7-20, 2026 deadline of submission of bids/bid opening: october 20, 2026 1:00 pm for submission of complete set of bidding documents: office address:: 2f r204 bac office municipal hall of laurel, batangas-pob. 2, laurel, batangas 7) all bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in itb. 8) bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder/s representatives who choose to attend the activity. 9) the municipal government of laurel, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, declare a failure of bidding, or not award the contract at any time prior to contract award in accordance with section 70 of r.a. no. 12009, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders. for further information, please refer to: joel m. maligaya aris d. de sagun bac secretariat bac chairman
