Documentation of court decisions for the Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Court of Justice

The Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Court of Justice are responsible for the content of the entire administrative, civil and criminal case law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Federal Court of Justice also documents decisions of supranational and foreign courts whose focus is on ordinary jurisdiction. They work in a documentation network with the other federal courts and the Federal Constitutional Court. For the jurisprudence of the administrative courts and higher administrative courts/administrative courts as well as all ordinary courts including the Federal Court of Justice, the content is indexed by external documentation bodies that systematically classify the assigned decisions, link them with other legal information and, if necessary, provide them with an orientation sentence according to the rules of the documentation network. Overall, it is planned to award an annual volume of around 26,250 decisions, i.e. around 500 decisions per lot in 21 lots with the same content. This is an estimate, so the deviation in the number of decisions that actually need to be processed can be up or down by up to 25%. There is neither a guarantee that certain quantities or order volumes will be ordered, nor is there an obligation to call up a certain minimum volume if the legislature does not provide the two parties with sufficient budgetary resources for this purpose. The fixed contract term should be 2.5 years. For this purpose, a framework agreement will be concluded between the providers and the Federal Republic of Germany for the recipients, the Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Court of Justice, on the basis of the tender documents.
