Contract Description
Energy business travel program as part of the BMWE Energy Export Initiative 2027, 1st tranche Lot 1 - Egypt Hybrid systems for decentralized energy production and storage in Egypt
Target country: Egypt Field of application: Energy infrastructure and electromobility Possible date: Q1 + Q2 2027 Objective: The aim of the measure is to place German SMEs from the areas of hybrid power plants, storage systems, PV/battery technologies and project development in the emerging Egyptian target market for decentralized generation and storage solutions. At the outset, the German business solutions and best practices are to be placed in front of a high-caliber target audience of institutional, political and business decision-makers. The central focus of the GR is the individual initiation of tangible sales opportunities, with the recent regulatory opening of the Egyptian electricity market for the decentralized production, storage and distribution of renewable electricity being the programmatic hook of the trip. One focus is on presenting the performance of German technologies and establishing business contacts with potential partners and customers through individual contact discussions. The travel agenda, including the concept of the event format, must be aligned with this objective. The overarching aim of the measure is to create a framework for sustainable business relationships and to strengthen the visibility of relevant technologies and solutions from Germany. Note: The GR is advertised in combination with a WEB. Participation in the WEB is independent of registration for the GR. The aim is to inform German companies about the target market and the main topic and at the same time to increase the interest of German companies in participating in the upcoming GR. The German-Egyptian hydrogen partnership and the Partnering in Business with Germany program must be involved in the preparation and implementation of the measure. The specifications described in the guidelines must be applied when implementing the project.
