Description & Project Overview
The cancer department at AUH wants a 1.5T MR scanner. The scanner must be able to be used for the following areas: Therapy MR scanning of all diagnoses that benefit from this (cerebrum, head-neck, pelvis, extremities, bone metastases) MR scanning of patients for Brachytherapy MR scanning of children under anesthesia (primarily cerebrum) The practical workflow is of great importance for this scanner, as the patients often require special positioning and the use of different fixation equipment.
