As part of the conversion measures of the 2nd stage in the Tauern Tunnel, Bf. Böckstein and renewal of the 10kV cables from TS04 Mallnitz - Hintertal to TS01 Mallnitz, extensive SFE – Signal/Telecommunications/Electrical services are planned as follows: Tauern Tunnel: Renewal of the 10kV cable from TS03 - TS04 Tauern Tunnel. Renewal of the 10kV cable from TS04 - TS01 Mallnitz. Power supply for telecommunications and mechanical systems (HVAC). Electrical installations and lighting in the portal stations and technical stations in the tunnel. Installation of orientation lighting (illuminated LED handrail) in the tunnel tube. Mounting of hydrants and LED push-buttons in the tunnel tubes. Cabling work for telematics, overhead lines and signalling technology. Earthing measures.
