Finland – Railway construction works – Sopimusmuutosilmoitus, Espoon kaupunkirata, Turvalaitekaapeloinnit työmaapalvelu AU3- ja AU4-alueella (TLU4)

The Espoo urban railway project is part of the development of the capital region's public transport system. In the project, two additional tracks with bridges will be built between Leppävaara and Kauklahti, and six stations will be renovated. Local and long-distance train traffic will be separated on their own tracks, which will enable the development of Rantarad local traffic and Helsinki-Turku long-distance traffic. The procurement entities for the project are the Väylävirasto, the city of Espoo, the city of Kauniainen, HSY and Caruna. The subject of the procurement is the execution of safety equipment works in the area of ​​area contracts 3 and 4 of the Espoo urban rail project, between Koivuhovi-Kauklahti. The contract includes the safety equipment technical modifications that enable the regional contractors' work on the track, the more detailed content of which is defined in the contract documents. Contract work includes e.g. dismantling and installation of existing safety devices in a new location, dismantling of existing cables and installation of replacement new cables on new cable routes, as well as work related to the introduction of safety devices and handover to traffic.
