Description & Project Overview
HIRING A COMPANY TO CARRY OUT PAVEMENT WORKS ON SEVERAL STREETS IN THE URBAN AREA OF THE MUNICIPALITY, ACCORDING TO THE TRANSFER OF SPECIAL TRANSFER COMMITMENT TERM/SEINFRA No. 1301001922/2026 – PROPOSAL 004514/2026 – WORK PLAN 003236/2026, in accordance with the specifications and quantities contained in the terms of reference, annex I and other annexes. The purpose of this Special Transfer is to promote the improvement of the urban road infrastructure in the Municipality of Passa Quatro, through the execution of paving works on a section of urban streets, aiming to solve problems related to inadequate traffic conditions, especially in rainy periods, when the occurrence of mud, erosion, dust and irregularities compromise the safe movement of residents, pedestrians and vehicles. The objective seeks to guarantee better conditions for urban mobility, accessibility and road safety, directly contributing to the population's daily movement, access to essential public services, circulation of school transport, meeting health demands, commerce and other economic and social activities carried out in the areas served. The improvements will also provide a reduction in vehicle maintenance costs, greater durability of public roads and a reduction in the inconveniences faced daily by users. The Municipality of Passa Quatro has a population of approximately 15,515 inhabitants, according to the IBGE 2022 Census, distributed over a territorial area of approximately 277 km², a reality that highlights the continuous need for investments in urban infrastructure to ensure better mobility conditions, integration of neighborhoods and quality of life for the population. The municipality has a GDP per capita of R$47,660.13 (2023) and a Municipal Human Development Index (IDHM) of 0.715, considered high, demonstrating development potential that directly depends on the expansion and modernization of public infrastructure.
