REPLACEMENT OF THE FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM OF THE GENERATORS AND TRANSFORMERS IN THE SANTIAGO ANTUNEZ DE MAYOLO HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS (SAM) AND RESTITUTION (RON) - 2nd call Invitation to bid Description DESCRIPTION OF THE TENDER: The purpose of this call for tender (ITB) is to hire a company specialized in fire-fighting systems for the execution of the project called: “Replacement of the fire-fighting system of the generators and transformers in the Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo (SAM) and Restitution (RON) Hydroelectric Power Plants”, in accordance with the requirements, specifications and other conditions established in the Tender Documents. INQUIRIES AND CLARIFICATIONS PROCESS: Bidders must submit their queries exclusively through the UNOPS eSourcing system, accessing the “Information about the announcement” section and then the “Request clarification” tab of the eSourcing platform. Each query must be entered and sent individually through the system. Clarifications formulated outside the UNOPS eSourcing system or those that bidders include in eSourcing through links or other types of access will not be accepted. UNOPS will respond to the queries received by issuing explanatory notes and/or amendments, which will be published in the “Documents” tab contained in the “Information about the announcement” section of the eSourcing platform and will form an integral part of the Bidding Documents. All clarification requests must be submitted before the "Clarification Deadline" indicated in the “General Information” tab contained in the “Ad Information” section of the eSourcing platform. UNOPS will understand that the bidder has carefully examined all Bidding Documents available on the eSourcing platform in order to determine its ability to comply with the technical, commercial and contractual conditions.
