Construction of a 4-storey laboratory building with a gross floor area of approximately 6,000 m². The technical centres are located in the basement, while the ground floor houses a separate animal husbandry area. The upper two floors are divided between laboratory and office use. The pipes for the building services trades within the building are to be insulated. These include, inter alia: - Cold potable water pipes made of stainless steel, pressed (2,500 m, DN15 to DN50) - Cold demineralised water pipes made of plastic, welded (900 m, DN25 to DN40) - Heating pipes made of stainless steel (2,900 m, DN15 to DN32) - Cooling pipes made of stainless steel (1,700 m, DN15 to DN32) - Air ducts made of galvanised steel (2,300 m²) - Sheet metal cladding for a large proportion of the aforementioned pipes and ducts. Depending on the location within the building (necessary corridor or ventilation centre), different requirements apply regarding flammability and smoke development.
