Description & Project Overview
The USCG requires Low-earth-orbit (LEO) SATCOM services to address critical needs of the overall USCG mission. These LEO services will provide the USCG with CGONE network availability in the most climate challenging regions. This requirement includes USCG site surveys, maintenance and sustainment, hardware (OneWeb Kits), hardware installation, SATCOM services, and Total Access Orchestration (TAO) services to ensure consistent functionality and connectivity. This sole source exception to fair opportunity is pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purpose of this modification is to modify the existing contract to expand the scope of work by adding requirements for higher bandwidth support and introducing equipment deinstallation services, Please see the attached Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition.
