The aim of the procurement is to replace the existing BI system as well as to more optimally combine previously independently operated isolated solutions with the overall planning. The planning and forecasting platform acts as a connecting element to consistently support all planning, forecasting and reporting modules. The planning and forecasting platform is intended to fulfill the following functions in particular: - Central storage, harmonization and provisioning of all relevant data (plan, actual, forecast) - Bidirectional connection to modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake - Flexible integration of modules (controlling, liquidity, network, sales,...). - Ensuring consistent data logic and governance. It is also expected that preconfigured best practice modules will be introduced as a starting point as part of the implementation and that these can be tailored in a targeted manner together with DEW21. The focus is not just on the standard product, but on quality-assured modeling, integration (ETL/interfaces) and the ability of power users to independently develop and administer the system. Furthermore, reference is made to the service description.
