NOTICE A EVENTS OF INTEREST AMI N°05/MEPSP/PROCLIMAT/UGP-CPM/26 CONSULTANT SERVICES (Firm) Title of the Mission: Recruitment of a design office for the development of two Biodiversity Management Plans for the Conkouati Douli National Park (PNCD) and the Lossi Gorilla Sanctuary (SGL) as part of the activities financed by ProClimat Reference number : CG-PROCLIMAT-029-C-QC-26 The Republic of Congo obtained on April 14, 2023, on the one hand, with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), a Loan Agreement for an amount of 70 million US dollars and on the other hand with the Global Partnership for Sustainable and Resilient Landscapes (PROGREEN), a Grant Agreement for an amount of 12 million Dollars, or a total of 82 million US dollars, for the implementation of the Project for the creation of inclusive economic activities that are resilient to climate change (ProClimat Congo - P177786). To this was added additional funding of USD 50 million, as of December 8, 2023, to deal with food insecurity, for a total of USD 132 million. The overall objective of the mission of the specialized design office is to develop two Biodiversity Management Plans for the Conkouati Douli National Park (PNCD) and the Lossi Gorilla Sanctuary (SGL) as part of the activities financed by ProClimat in order to guarantee the preservation of biodiversity and the sustainable management of natural biological resources.
