Contract Description
Implementation of measures to directly support the critically endangered ground squirrel, the subject of EVL protection, by adjusting the habitat conditions using manual mowing on 5 areas in the Raná-Hrádek EVL. The total mowed area within 5 areas is 3.0079 ha. Manual mowing will be carried out using a brushcutter, manual removal of all mowed matter from the treated areas and its use in accordance with applicable legal regulations. As part of mowing, any rejuvenation of trees up to a height of 0.8 m will be removed. The measure will be carried out according to the drawings above the orthophoto map, which is in Annex No. 2 of the contract. Manual mowing is carried out as part of the sustainability of the LIFE+ project "Steppe Lounského středohoří". All work will be carried out from the effective date of the work contract until 15 July 2021.
