Design, delivery and realization of a total audiovisual experience in the Orangery of Meise Botanical Garden during the Floridylle 2026 light festival

For the upcoming edition of the Floridylle light festival, Meise Botanical Garden is looking for a creative and technically strong partner for the realization of a spectacular video mapping on the ceiling of the Orangery. To turn the hall into one immersive space, the projection is combined with mood lighting on the columns and an audio track. Because the music must fit seamlessly with the overall atmosphere of Floridylle and the rest of the domain, the audio composition will be finalized after award in close consultation with our managers. The total available budget for this complete realization is a maximum of 35,000 euros excluding VAT. The installation must be operational during all Floridylle evenings: December 16 to 23, December 26 to 30 and January 2. The show has a fixed running time of four to five minutes and runs in a continuous, seamless loop throughout the evening. The transition from the end of the show back to the beginning feels so natural and fluid that visitors can enter at any time and be immediately drawn into the experience. The visual elaboration of the video mapping revolves entirely around the element of water in terms of content and artistry, with the focus on the plant kingdom. The botanical world is the unmistakable driving force of the design. It is essential that the specific plant species from the included plant list from Botanic Garden Meise (see Chapter 3. Technical regulations) are incorporated into the cartoon in an organic, recognizable and artistic way. Animals from the frame play a purely supporting and functional role: they serve to strengthen the story, visually connect the ten thematic zones and take the visitor on a journey. This includes special water and deep-sea creatures (for example: anglerfish, jellyfish or sea anemone) that have a strong visual relationship in their shape, texture or movement
