Description & Project Overview
Maintaining perioperative normothermia is part of safe anesthesiological care. For the areas of anesthesia, operating room, recovery room and, if necessary, intensive care medicine, the University Hospital of Bonn needs a system for active convective patient warming that can be used throughout the hospital. The system must enable effective prewarming during the induction of anesthesia and continuous warming during further perioperative care. The subject of this service description is the needs-based rental of a reusable overall system consisting of textile thermal blankets and thermal pads, the associated warm air devices and all components required for safe operation. The order also includes the regular hygienic preparation, collection and return delivery of the textiles, the maintenance of the equipment as well as replacement and repair in the event of wear, damage or technical failure. The aim is to provide reliable, resource-saving care with convective patient warming systems that can be integrated into clinical processes. The contractor will provide a sufficient number of functional warm air devices and hygienically prepared reusable heating textiles in the rental system throughout the entire contract period. The required quantities, delivery points and retrieval modalities result from the other tender documents and are coordinated on a location-specific basis as part of the implementation.
