Description & Project Overview
The state of Baden-Württemberg, represented by the Karlsruhe Regional Council, Department 53.1, intends to create a retention area on the lower reaches of the Leimbach in the Nussloch district. The retention area serves to flatten the flood wave and to optimize flood protection for future construction measures to create 100-year flood protection on the Leimbach. The flow of the flood wave into the retention area is ensured via two breaches to be created in the existing Leimbach. Mobile dam beam elements are used to regulate the inflow volume
