The subject of (partial) public procurement contracts awarded in DNS shall be the acquisition of technology, software, products and services by Cisco Systems, Inc., 170 West Tasman Dr. San Jose, CA 95134 USA (Cisco Systems). It shall be to secure the acquisitions of technology and services from Cisco Systems or the possible addition of existing technology and service of the controlling party to Cisco Systems only where it is not possible to request technology and the services of a manufacturer other than Cisco Systems and in particular for reasons of compatibility, security and homogeneity of the communications network controller and the protection of investments already made, in situations where the functionality and security of a device other than the Cisco Systems would not be ensured if it were suppliedsecurity integrity of the entire solution. The contracting authority will require, in individual calls for sub-contracts conducted through DNS (partial public procurement), the delivery to the fulfilment site (including transport) of Cisco Systems technologies, i.e. HW and SW components including their accessories, the provision of SW licenses or product subscriptions, the information necessary for their use, where appropriate, HW maintenance and/or SW maintenance and / or subscription. Hw maintenance and (or) SW maintenance or subscription must be provided within the Cisco Systems service programme. The subject matter of the fulfilments in the established DNS may be in particular - the provision, in essence, of products which are licensed by the licensing firm, using the original and/ or sub-seriesCisco Systems proprietary means and Cisco Systems original accessories including their deployment capabilities: - routers and corresponding proprietary SW licenses for Cisco Systems software products and/or subscriptions, - switches and correspondent proprietarySW licenses to Cisco Systems program products and / or subscripts, - wireless network products and correspondant proprietary SV licenses of Cisco Systems programs and/ or subscritions,- the provision of accessories, - the licensing of all Cisco Systems software, - support for Cisco Systems products, - subscription to Cisco Systems services, - provision of catalogue services of the AS-Fixed Cisco Systems type, - supply of catalogues of Cisco Systems credits, - pre-sale consulting of Cisco systems for authorised contracting authorities, - information on Cisco Systems program changes and novelties, - advice on how to purchase Cisco Systems licenses, - providing information on the lifecycle of Cisco System products.the documentation for the submission of a specific sub-contracts in the DNS (in the call for tenders within the meaning of § 141 TEU) and its Annexes.
