The works proposed and required to be executed are viaduct rehabilitation works, being described in the Feasibility Study that will be made available to the Contractor/Contractor by the Contracting Entity. The Contracting Entity makes available to the Contractor/Contractor, the Town Planning Certificates and regulatory documents in the field of the environment obtained at the level of the Feasibility Study, together with the related agreements/opinions/authorizations. If updates to these documents are required, the Contractor/Contractor, supported by the Beneficiary, will take all steps to update them and obtain agreements/approvals/authorizations, as appropriate. The realization of the proposed works for the rehabilitation and modernization of the railway structure, namely the Viaduct at km 47+179, Line CF 422 Salva – Vișeu de Jos, between Săcel and Iza stations, Maramureș county, will contribute to: - Bringing the structures to normal safety conditions and operation - Removing dangerous points from the railway route - Realizing the conditions for canceling speed restrictions - Increasing the speed of movement of freight and passenger trains - Reduction of travel times - Increasing the attractiveness of rail transport in the future The requirements of the beneficiary regarding the requested services and works, as well as the results expected following the provision of the services and the execution of the works, are detailed in the Specifications. The works proposed and required to be executed will be implemented in accordance with the approved Technical Documentation and the Instructions in force, in the technological order of execution, with strict compliance with the work quality control program, the determining phases and the requirements of the Task Book. In this solution, the viaduct will be repaired and strengthened by local lining with concrete. The extrados of the concrete vaults will be exposed, the areas with degraded concrete will be repaired and the vaults and pilasters will be strengthened by lining them with reinforced concrete. The parapet, the tympans, the tank and the waterproofing of the viaduct will be repaired and restored locally. The rail frame (S60) - sleepers (concrete) will be replaced. A new parapet will be built and the stairs on the slope will be rebuilt. The embankments at the ends of the viaduct and the broken stone prism of the path will be restored to ensure its stability. The bed will be laid out 20m upstream and downstream. The quarters of the cone will be cleaned and protected with pears. The fiber optic cables and analogue copper cable are laid overhead on the TT poles and are not affected by the works. The estimated value of the contract for LOT 2: Design and Execution Rehabilitation works for bridges, bridges and railway tunnels - Viaduct km 47+179, Line CF422 Salva - Vișeu de Jos, is 35,350,588.99 lei without VAT, being composed of: - Design services: 1,168,059.17 lei without VAT; - Execution of works: 31,938,218.45 lei without VAT; - Implementation reserves, provisioned amount: 2,244,311.37 lei without VAT. In addition to this value, the Contracting Entity, in accordance with the provisions of art. 117, para. (1) of Law 99/2016 with subsequent amendments and additions, opts for the subsequent purchase of new services and/or similar works from the bidder whose bid was declared the winner in the present sectoral procurement procedure in the amount of 3,209,869.10 lei without VAT, representing 10% of the estimated value of the contract (without the estimated values for implementation reserves and site organization), resulting a total estimated value of the contract, of 38,560,458.09 lei without VAT. Thus, the Total Estimated Value of the Contract (including similar services/works) is in the range of 35,350,588.99 lei without VAT - 38,560,458.09 lei without VAT. The estimated value of the contract does not include the amounts related to the Miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses provision. Miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses can be found in the General Budget. The awarding procedure is carried out subject to this suspensive clause, in the sense that the signing of the works execution contracts will be done only after securing the funding source, according to section II.1.4) Brief description of the contract or purchase/purchases.
