Description & Project Overview
Supply and installation of a hematology platform for the clinical laboratory, consisting of: • two hematological analyzers (cell counters) for the analysis of whole blood (CBC and differentiation), at least one of which can count reticulocytes and body fluids; • a slide maker stainer (SMS) for automatically making and staining blood smears, with at least one cell counter linked to the SMS; • a digital microscope for the morphological assessment of blood smears. Indicative annual volumes: ANALYSIS NUMBER PER YEAR • CBC 56,000 • Differentiation 48,300 • Reticulocytes 2,430 • Body fluids (lumbar fluid, peritoneal fluid, pleural fluid and joint fluid) 405 Quality control: • CBC/DIFF: 1 x per day, 3 levels; • reticulocytes: 1 x per day, 3 levels. Blood smears: • approximately 10 to 29 per day, varying from day to day. All equipment, reagents and consumables offered that qualify as an in vitro diagnostic medical device must, at the time of delivery, be lawfully placed on the market in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR), including the transitional provisions provided for therein, and bear the CE marking.
