The Blaufelden station was temporarily rebuilt to the stopping point. As part of this project, tracks 2-4 and 8 switches in Blaufelden are to be renewed. In addition, an ESTW-R with conditions from Niederstetten and a second outside platform are to be built. The ESTW-R Bad Mergentheim project including 5 Büs provides for the construction of a new ESTW-R including the level crossings in the impact area, the barrier-free conversion of the Bad Mergentheim train station and the construction of a parking facility on route 4953.
