The Municipality of Copenhagen entered into a limited-time lease agreement with the Association DGI City for the Øksnehall in 2014. The agreement was extended until 31 December 2024. The Municipal Government of Copenhague has been working since the beginning of 2026 to prepare and implement a tender for the operation of the Øxnehall. The tender for a new lease was published by TED Order No 634395-2026 on 15 September 2026. The Municipalities of Cop Copenhagen now wish to conclude an extension of the existing lease with a view to extending the agreement by six months until 30 June 2027. The purpose of the extension is only to ensure continuity in the operation in the Øknehall during the period between the expiry of the current lease and the end of the lease.the entry into force of the future concession agreement and to ensure the necessary period of implementation for the future licensee.
