Framework agreement for heart-lung machines and hypothermia devices

The subject of the award procedure is the conclusion of a framework contract for the delivery of heart-lung machines including the associated hypothermia devices and charging stations for the clinic for cardiac and thoracic surgery at the University Hospital Magdeburg. The framework agreement is expected to procure a total of seven heart-lung machines and six hypothermia machines through individual orders within the contract period. The specific procurement takes place according to needs and is based on the actual needs of the client. The contractor must provide the contractual services completely, operationally and functionally. What is required is a ready-to-use overall solution that includes all devices, components, accessories, interfaces and other components required for intended and safe operation. The scope of services includes, in particular, the professional delivery, set-up, installation and commissioning of the devices as well as the necessary training of the client's designated personnel in their safe and intended use. All services and components necessary for this are included in the scope of services. When providing the service, the contractor must comply with all legal and official requirements applicable at the relevant time as well as the relevant medical device law, safety and technical specifications, standards and guidelines. This applies in particular to the requirements for medical devices and their safe operation in clinical environments. The framework agreement is concluded with a term of four years. The specific quantities are ordered during the contract term according to the actual requirements through individual calls from the framework contract.
