Description & Project Overview
This is the new construction of the bypass of the village of Krňany on road II/106, including the construction of a bridge structure and construction modifications to connect the existing parts of road II/106 leading to the village to the planned bypass. Part of the construction is also the repair of the section of the existing road II/106 in the range from the end of the station of the main route to the border of the cadastral territories of Krňany and Hostěradice. The bypass is designed for a design speed of 70 km/h. Compared to the basic standard design speed of 90 km/h, in accordance with the relevant provision of the standard, it was reduced by 20 km/h due to the cramped conditions given by the configuration of the territory, the location according to the spatial plan and the parameters of the adjacent sections of the existing road II/106. The length of the new bypass construction is 918 m. The project also includes the construction of an underpass for cattle.
