In order to implement the Bavarian Climate Protection Act (BayKlimaG), it is the task of the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) to obtain certificates (emission reduction credits) for the annual compensation of unavoidable emissions from business air travel as well as for the compensation of unavoidable emissions from the state government.
