New construction of the technical center building for teaching and laboratory purposes for the Faculty of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering at the West Saxon University of Zwickau with a usable area of approx. 3,800 m². There are already campus buildings at the location that need to be included in the considerations in terms of urban planning, functionality and building law. The location is in an inner-city context in the immediate vicinity of the southern entrance to the historic old town center. The aim of the construction project is to close the urban development district. It is desirable to create an urban development dominant in proportion and in relation to the surrounding area.
