Works relating to SRT no. 436 della Francesca. The intervention consists of the functional upgrading of the existing SP22 del Porrione e del Terzo, in the Municipality of Pieve a Nievole (PT), to the type of a Type C1 Secondary Extra-urban Road, pursuant to Ministerial Decree 05.11.2001 Functional and geometric standards for road construction. To achieve this, the widening of the existing SP22 up to a cross-section of 10.50 m is planned, the remodelling of the road planimetry (with adaptation of curvature radii) and of the altimetric profile (with adaptation of gradients also in function of the hydraulic network). The following are also planned: - the construction of a new roundabout (pursuant to Ministerial Decree 19.04.2006 Functional and geometric standards for the construction of road intersections) to replace the T-junction between SP22 and Via Marconi; - the construction of a service road parallel to the designed road for the convergence of currently existing accesses; - the construction of a cycle path also parallel to the designed road, connecting existing or planned cycle routes, in accordance with the Structural Plan of the Municipality of Pieve a Nievole. Works of art are planned such as several box culverts functional to the restoration of connections between existing canals interfering with the new layout of SP22 and reinforced earth retaining walls to support the road embankment.
