Description & Project Overview
Health NZ is undertaking a project to implement new electrical distribution and control systems at substation 3 (Block T / “Boilerhouse”) at Palmerston North Hospital.We require the services of a Main Contractor to construct and commission the substation 3 electrical infrastructure works whch include:- Installation of new structural elements, building structures and fire separations.- Provision of new LV MSB (MSB 3) and LV generator bus A and B switchboards as indicated on drawings.- Removal of redundant equipment as indicated on drawings.- Installation and connection of new supply transformers 7455-P and 7456-P- Provision of temporary supplies and controls as required to undertake the project- Removal of redundant transformers and refurbishment of transformer bays as specified- Termination of new LV mains and submain cables- Submain migrations- Mechanical systems- Controls systems isolations and new equipment as indicated on drawings.- Software and HMI programming.- Controls and communications integration- Site based Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) (Offload).- Project Completion Blackstart test (TBC).- Making good and passive fire protection as specified.
