Contract Description
Tourist information of the future - process optimization and digitalization in the southern Eifel and Gerolsteiner Land Tourist information of the future - process optimization and digitalization in the southern Eifel and Gerolsteiner Land
The Verbandsgemeinde Südeifel, together with other tourism partners in the region, is planning to implement the “Tourist Information of the Future” project – process optimization and digitalization in the Southern Eifel and Gerolsteiner Land. The focus is on process optimization and digitalization in the southern Eifel and Gerolsteiner Land. The following partners are involved: Felsenland Südeifel Tourismus GmbH, Touristik GmbH Gerolsteiner Land, holiday area Bitburger Land association, Tourist Information Prüm/Associated Municipality Prüm and Tourist Information Islek/Associated Municipality Arzfeld. A shortage of skilled workers, rising personnel and operating costs as well as strained municipal budgets pose profound challenges to the tourism industry. At the same time, guests expectations are changing, increasingly requiring digital, service-oriented and efficient offerings. The aim of the call for proposals is to fundamentally develop the internal structures of the organizations involved. The focus is on optimizing and harmonizing processes, building a common knowledge database for all partners involved, and integrating AI tools into existing workflows to make them more efficient and future-proof. The common knowledge base is intended to serve as a central information hub, pooling resources, speeding up decisions and reducing costs.
