The Accessibility and Traffic Management department's primary task is to optimally manage all traffic flows in and through the city. Traffic in and around The Hague is monitored, informed and controlled from the Hague Traffic Center. This is done with the help of a coherent network of approximately 250 traffic control installations (VRIs), 72 dynamic route information panels (DRIPs), approximately 1,510 signage objects and 140 traffic cameras.
