Contract Description
Energy business travel program as part of the BMWE Energy Export Initiative 2027, 1st tranche Lot 32 - Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras Decentralized energy supply and storage technologies
Destination country: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras Field of application: Energy production Possible date: Q1 2027 Objective: The aim of the regional business trip is to specifically initiate business relationships between German companies in the area of decentralized energy production in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. The focus is on developing new sales markets, establishing long-term partnerships and positioning German technologies in an economically closely networked region with common challenges, logistical interfaces and existing cooperation potential. The trip is intended to help strategically use regional synergies to facilitate market access for German companies and open up new business opportunities. A central format is a specialist conference in one of the three target countries. In addition, a networking event is planned in a second country - for example in the form of a business breakfast - to enable personal contacts with potential business partners at decision-maker level. Individual B2B discussions should be organized in all three countries depending on the needs and interests of the participating companies, provided the logistical conditions allow it. Site visits are not carried out. Note: A regional target market analysis (ZMA, special version) should be created that includes the target markets of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. The aim is to demonstrate the strategic advantages of interregional market entry into these markets. In particular, existing economic, financial and logistical channels should be taken into account and analyzed in order to present market access strategies and synergy potential between the countries. Three individual potential analyzes must be written for Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. The specifications described in the guidelines must be applied when implementing the project.
