The Government of the Republic of Cameroon has received funding from the International Development Association (IDA), a member of the World Bank Group, to cover the cost of the Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA) Project and intends to use part of this credit to make payments under the following contract: “ Recruitment of an individual international consultant for the development of the master plan of the common geospatial infrastructure for official statistics in Cameroon ". 2. The consulting services (“the Services”) are part of Component 1 (Sub-component 1.4, Operation 1.4.9: Establishment of a common geospatial infrastructure for official statistics in Cameroon). Their objective is to develop the blueprint for the common geospatial infrastructure for official statistics, in order to provide the National Statistical Information System (SNIS) with a coherent, interoperable, governed and sustainable framework for the integration of statistical and geospatial data, in accordance with the Global Statistical-Geospatial Framework (GSGF), the Integrated Geospatial Information Framework (UN-IGIF) and OGC/ISO standards.
