The subject of the order is the object planning of outdoor facilities for the first implementation phase of the redesign of the listed Alter Markt square ensemble in Magdeburg. The commission follows the completed realization competition according to RPW 2013 “Alter Markt in Magdeburg”. The objectives formulated in the competition must be further developed and specified taking into account the recommendations of the jury. The first implementation phase includes the redesign of the Old Market in the area between Breiten Weg and the town hall, including its functional and spatial connections. The planning must be carried out in the context of a climate-adapted and resilient development of public space and taking into account the requirements of the “Living Centers” urban development funding program. As part of this award, the following services are awarded: Property planning outdoor facilities Lph 1-2, optionally 3-9 in accordance with Section 39 HOAI i. V. m. Appendix 11, Section 11.1, and special services for Lph 1-2, optionally for Lph 3-9. The special services of Lph 1-2 include, in particular, the creation of a lighting concept, a Christmas and weekly market concept, a coordinated management plan (inventory) as well as participation in meetings in political committees or as part of public participation. Optionally, as part of Lph 3-9, the updating of the coordinated management plan (existence and planning), the preparation of clearing and tree felling applications and the monitoring of development maintenance can be commissioned.
