Invitation to bid for uplb-if-019-10-26 rebid, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of 2-unit hp air duct booster fan, 2-units 10tr & 2-units 5tr ceiling ducted air-conditioning units, d.l umali auditorium, corner harold cuzner royal palm ave. and jose b. juliano ave., uplb college, laguna. 1) the university of the philippines los baños (uplb), through the 8265200 intends to apply the sum of php5,627,488.23 being the approved budget for the contract (abc) to payments under the contract for uplb-if-019-10-26 rebid, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of 2-unit hp air duct booster fan, 2-units 10tr & 2-units 5tr ceiling ducted air-conditioning units, d.l umali auditorium, corner harold cuzner royal palm ave. and jose b. juliano ave., uplb college, laguna. bids received in excess of the abc shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. 2) the university of the philippines los baños (uplb) now invites bids for the above procurement project. completion of the works is required sixty (60) calendar days bidders should have completed, within 10 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project. the description of an eligible bidder is contained in the bidding documents, particularly, in section ii. instruction to bidder (itb). 3) bidding will be conducted through competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the irr, otherwise known as the “new government procurement act (ngpa)”. bidding is restricted to filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, cooperatives, and partnerships or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the philippines. 4) interested bidders may obtain further information from university of the philippines los baños (uplb) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from monday to friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. 5) a complete set of bidding documents may be acquired by interested bidders on monday, 28 september 2026, 8:00am to 5:00pm from the address below for a non-refundable bidding documents fee amounting to ten thousand pesos (₱10,000.00). bidding documents fee payment shall be made through deposit or online transfer of funds to: bank name: landbank of the philippines los banos branch account number: 1892-1005-07 account name: uplb trust project fund uplb cashier’s office shall issue the corresponding official receipt upon verification of the submitted proof of payment. the official receipt shall be released by the bac secretariat office. bidders are required to include two copies of deposit/transfer slip with bank validation or any other equivalent proof of payment in the documents for submission during opening day in lieu of the or. it may also be downloaded free of charge from the website of the philippine government electronic procurement system (philgeps) and the website of the procuring entity, provided that bidders shall pay the applicable fee for the bidding documents not later than the submission of their bids. 6) the university of the philippines los baños (uplb) will hold a pre-bid conference on 12 october 2026, 11:30 am at procurement management office (prmo) conference room,
