Our programming has the distinct attributes of applying bottom-up approach that puts the communities at the center of our programs.Description of the Construction WorksAs part of project implementation, WARDI is seeking contractors to undertake the rehabilitation of ten traditional shallow wells and two strategic solarized water sources in Ceel-Buur District, Galmudug State, and Burhakaba District, South West State (SWS), Somalia.The works shall include, but not be limited to, the following:Rehabilitation of Traditional Shallow Wells (five shallow wells in each Ceelbur and Burkahaba)Dewatering and desilting of existing wells.Repairing well linings and raising and sealing wellheads.Installing protective covers and rehabilitating concrete aprons and drainage channels.Repairing water-lifting systems and deepening wells where technically justified.Disinfection and water-quality testing before commissioning.Rehabilitation of two Strategic Solarized Water Sources (one of each Ceelbur and Burhakaba)Repairing or replacing defective solar panels, pumps, and electrical components.Rehabilitating water storage tanks and supporting structures.Repairing pipelines, water kiosks, and drainage systems.Constructing or rehabilitating livestock watering troughs where specified.Conducting system performance tests and water-quality testing before commissioning.Interested contractors with proven experience in the construction and rehabilitation of shallow wells and boreholes, or similar civil works are invited to submit their bids in accordance with the requirements set out in this solicitation.Eligibility RequirementsInterested bidders must submit:The Bill of Quantity (annex A)which includes other costs such as applicable VAT, duly filled, signed and stamped by the authorized representative indicating the validity period of the offer, which shall be no less than the required bid validity period.The Latrine drawing (Annex B)(acknowledgement only), signed and stampedThe Technical Specifications (Annex C)(acknowledgement only), signed and stampedThe work schedule (annex D),filled, signed, stampedTheIntegrity, Compliance and Ethical Conductdeclaration (annex E),filled and signedCompany OrganogramSigned and stamped list of projectsthe bidder has implemented in the past 8 years with other NGOs/INGOs/ UN agencies, the bidder should also provide the stamped and signed agreement for each item in the list.CVs of key technical personnel, including the Project Engineer, Site Engineer, and Foremen, demonstrating their qualifications and relevant experience.Registration certificatefrom the Federal Ministry of Public Works/Ministry of Commerce, or from the State Ministry of Public Works (Galmudug or South West States).
