Contract Description
1.1. The subject of the performance of the public contract is the strengthening of the anchoring system of the guide seal at the Morávka VD. The contractor will have at his disposal simplified project documentation, including the technological procedure prepared by Carpi. This is a replacement of the degraded part of the SIBELON CNT ® geomembrane in the existing instructional seal of the dam at the point of connection to the breakwater. The existing sealing element was built in 2000, and due to the partial degradation of the material due to sunlight and weather conditions, there was a partial loss of the mechanical properties of the geomembrane. Therefore, the anchoring system is pulled out locally. The damaged sealing element will be replaced, the anchoring element will be strengthened to extend the life of the geomembrane and thus restore the functionality of the instructional seal to the full extent up to the breakwater. The work will proceed as follows: 1. Securing the geomembrane before repairing the upper termination 2. Removal of the existing termination. 3. New termination of the geocomposite on the dam crown, including the replacement of the damaged part of the geomembrane. With regard to the patented system of manual sealing with the SIBELON CNT ® geomembrane, installation is required by a company that is demonstrably familiar with this system and whose employees are trained in application and assembly.
