Description & Project Overview
The City is seeking Proposals from qualified Contractors to establish a Roster for the replacement of various mechanical systems and related equipment in City facilities. The anticipated work includes HVAC units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, plumbing networks and associated controls, together with related work required for complete and operational installations. The City intends to select up to three (3) Contractors through this RFP. Selection to the Roster does not award a specific construction project and does not guarantee any minimum volume or value of Work. As projects arise, the City intends to invite the three selected Contractors to submit a proposal or pricing for the individual project. The City will issue a project-specific scope, drawings/specifications (if available) and some projects may require a site visit. Contractors will submit pricing and any requested technical, schedule, methodology, bonding or other information. The City will evaluate those submissions and may award the project to the Contractor providing the best overall value for that project. The City will issue a Purchase Order (PO) and no Contractor is authorized to commence Work until the City has issued a PO.
