The Duisburg Zoo is planning to build a new pygmy hippopotamus house that meets the current requirements of the mammal report and the legal requirements for species-appropriate animal husbandry. The construction project will be realized in the eastern area of the zoo. To control the heating and ventilation systems, building automation according to VDI 3814 in DDC technology according to DIN EN 15232 and DIN V 18599-11 Category B is installed. This consists of an ISP in the technical ventilation room on the ground floor as a central control unit.
