Bingo! The Environmental Lottery is a lottery game that is sold jointly by the lottery companies in the federal states of S-H, M-V and Hamburg. The lottery itself is combined with a drawing and entertainment program on NDR (broadcast Sunday, 5-6 p.m.). The broadcast also communicates the good purpose of the lottery, i.e. the “promotion of nature and environmental protection as well as development cooperation in the spirit of the 2030 Agenda with 25% of the lottery turnover”. Funded projects are highlighted as positive examples of commitment and viewers are encouraged to send their own suggestions and project ideas to a North-wide valid PO box address. Service to be provided: The state and the contractor work with regard to the allocation of special purpose revenue from Bingo! The environmental lottery in the form that the state commissions the contractor with administrative, auditing, coordination and advisory tasks in accordance with this contract. The contractor assumes management duties for the procurement council on the basis of the “Rules of Procedure of the Procurement Council for the Allocation of Special Purpose Income from the Lottery BINGO! The Environmental Lottery Schleswig-Holstein” and in compliance with the funding guidelines issued for this purpose. The funding guidelines are limited until December 31, 2028. It is intended to extend this almost unchanged for another five years.
