East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Ltd, invites suitably qualified, experienced and reputable companies, organizations or local joint ventures to express their interest in the provision of a Routine Inspection Contract for Lifting Equipment Inspection and Certification Service across EACOP facilities in Tanzania. The EACOP Project involves the construction and operation of a buried 1,443 km cross-country heated pipeline transporting crude oil from Lake Albert, Uganda, to Tanga, Tanzania’s eastern coast for export. It spans 296 km across ten (10) districts in Uganda and 1,147 km across eight (8) regions and twenty-five (25) districts in Tanzania. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SCOPE OF SERVICES: EACOP Ltd is seeking qualified, experienced and reputable companies, organizations or local joint ventures to supply competent personnel, calibrated testing apparatus, certified test weights, load cells, water load bags, and consumables to execute lifting equipment inspection and certification services in compliance with Tanzanian Occupational Safety and Health legislation, EACOP Minimum Inspection Requirements, and LEEA specifications across four (4) Pumping Stations (PS3, PS4, PS5, and PS6), two (2) Pressure Reduction Stations (PRS1 and PRS2), the Marine Storage Terminal (MST) and Load-Out Facility (LOF) in Tanga, and fifty-three (53) Main Line Block Valve (MLBV) stations along the 1,147 km Tanzanian corridor.
