Description & Project Overview
Clemson University (the University) requests proposals from qualified firms to develop, implement, and maintain a car sharing program that will operate 24 hours per day, seven days a week. This will provide a transportation alternative to Clemson’s resident and commuter students and employees, especially those without access to personal vehicles. Strategic goals of the project include the following: · Provide resident and commuter students, and employees with access to a safe, efficient, and affordable alternative mode of transportation that can be used in lieu of a personal vehicle. · Provide international students with a safe, efficient, and affordable alternative mode of transportation that can be used in lieu of a personal vehicle. · Provide an alternative mode of transportation for students, faculty, and staff whom do not have access to a personal vehicle on campus.
